Don’t you think that if this was as big an issue as your making it out
to be, then the big Vitamin/Supplement companies and the big
distributors i.e. Source Naturals, Country Life, Allergy Research
Group, Jarrow, NOW, GNC and iherb, Vita Cost, Puritans Pride, etc. etc.
would have their attorneys and publicity teams all over this. After
all, they stand to lose huge revenues if this Guidance were to succeed.
Yet, not a peep from the people who stand to lose the most. It doesn’t
make sense if they are not alarmed. This sounds more like pure alarmist
rhetoric and I have received similar Alarms over the past few years
none of which were ultimately real. I think it’s a bogus threat as
well.

Being from the uk..I can tell you that the EU has already been setting very
limiting rules and regulations regarding the sale of nutrient and herbal
products..and year by year they seek to make the rules as strict as they can !
Dave is quite right in the points he has made..and C odex, seeks to makes these
rules a worldwide ruling..
Any Big Nutrient Company not making a big fuss..has to be viewed with some
suspician, and one wonders what they know that we don’t!
So folks in America..if you don’t want to be where already are in the EU..then
get supporting all of the organisations that are working to protect your health
freedom..after all, you will be the first to moan..when your choice is seriously
limited..
This has already happened in the EU..( a most corrupt organisation!)

I’ve read somewhere that the large nutrient companies are being bought up by the
pharmaceutical companies. Maybe that explains it.
