More sucess with flush #4

August 29th, 2006 · 5 Comments

I have this huge fear of doing a flush and ending up in the emergency
room with and expert medical person saying, “YOU DID WHAT????!!!” But
now I’ve done four flushes I feel a bit more certain that that won’t
happen. I was really scared of a stone getting stuck at first. The
more flushes I do, the more I see that not happening.
I read somewhere (can’t remember where) that for every four liver
flushes you do, you should flush the kidneys. Is this true? And how do
I flush the kidneys? I’ve been searching the Internet and can’t find
anything. I seem to remember reading to drink one juiced lemon in hot
water first thing in the morning. Is that sufficient for a kidney
flush, or is there something else I must do?

<My first flush had the same kind of rocky experience
you had at about the same time of night. I thought I
was gonna die, and then wished I would.
Well, it’s nice to know that, theoretically, it gets easier. I did my first
flush over the weekend and I still feel like crap!
I went through three quarts of apple juice plus a daily apple the few days
before the flush. I was pretty much following a protocol I got from the
local health food store. It calls for dissolving 4 Tbs of Epsom salts into
3 cups of water, and then chilling. I didn’t follow the same time line (bed
    at 10 p.m.) so I started a little later. Took the first dose (3/4 c) at 8
p.m. and the second dose at 10 p.m. I had planned to drink the olive oil
mixture at about midnight and then hit the sack, but was still too busy
running into the bathroom every ten minutes, and knew there was no way I’d
be able to lie still for 1/2 an hour, so I waited until 1 to drink the oil
mix. One of the flushes I’d read called for 1/2 c of olive oil - another

for 1 c. so I split the difference and opted for 3/4 c mixed with grapefruit
juice. I mixed it all up in the blender. Taste wasn’t bad, but I almost
gagged anyway ’cause of the oily feeling in my mouth, but I got it all down.
Went to bed. Slept very fitfully, but didn’t have to get up and use the
bathroom. Next morning, first thing, another 3/4 c of the Epsom salt
mixture. I certainly flushed out lots of junk. Tons of green pea stuff
(I’m still not convinced those are stones,) then a lot of pellet looking
thing-y’s. Reminded me of dry pet food floating around - assorted sizes and
shapes but none too large. I couldn’t work up the energy to do the fourth
dose of Epsom salts. Breakfast was an apple and a banana. Felt miserable
all day Sunday, but thought it was due to lack of sleep as much as anything
else. Slept pretty well Sunday night. Yesterday, I was achy and had a
headache all day. My abdomen hurt. I couldn’t go to the bathroom. I
finally tried a lemon juice, cleansing enema, last night. It helped some,
but there was no way I could do it properly. Colon just too tender to
retain it for longer than a minute. A little better today, but not much. I
want to try a coffee enema, but I still haven’t had a regular BM, and the
whole abdominal area is till very tender.
It’s funny, I’ve gone through the protocol for a colonoscopy twice now.
Never had any problem getting the system going again. But, it sure isn’t
    functioning normally yet!

    Hi Group,
I want to know what part of magnesium sulfate is it that relaxes the
bile duct? I would like to avoid using the epsom salts as I have been
fasting for 10 days already and do not need it for cleaning the system
out. If it is just the magnesium then I have a couple different forms I
can take to ensure that the ducts relax.
I would like to finish off tonight with another liver flush. Maybe then
I can get a good start for the next flush. I started this cleanse with
a liver flush and the epsom salts were almost to unbearable by the end
of the first couple hours. : )

<<I was wondering if you had incorporated
the epsom salts into the routine, a few hours before the lemon and
    olive
oil, that it might not have been as discomfortable.
No, what I did was what I said I did. I took the OxyPowder instead of
the epsom salts. I figured that would clean me out just as much. On
the OxyPowder packet it says not to take at the same time as epsom salts.
<<I was also wondering if stone free is something you take during a flush
or is it something that you take longer term before a flush?
Yes, you are meant to take it long term. But I read the ingredients
and figured there was nothing in it which would harm if I took a large
dose over a small period of time, so that’s what I did.

<<Did you mix the olive oil and lemon together very good. Use a blender
    or shake vigorously.
It really doesn’t taste all that bad mixed this way. and use a straw.
I think that grapefruit really tastes better than the lemon juice.
I did that last time and had a hard time swallowing it. This time I
let the oil sit on the lemon. I don’t like grapefruit, so I would
never drink it. Would orange work?
I’m super sensitive to the smell of olive oil now. After flush #3 I
had a hard time cooking with olive oil because I found the smell so
    bad after digesting so much.
I’m considering the strawberries and cream, but I really dislike cream
and always have done. I’m not sure I would do any better with that.

I’m not sure about orange, but red grapefruit tastes much better than
    yellow. It’s very sweet.
