bras

July 28th, 2006 · 12 Comments

I , too, have a problem with bras. The ones with underwire’s are
torture. Didn’t realize it had anything to do with my gallbladder. I have
resorted to the camisole tops with built in bra–not as much support but a
lot more comfortable. AND able to shed the shirt over them when not directly
in the public eye while having a “hot blast” without looking totally
obscene.

Hey - this may sound like a real dumb question, but does anyone have
trouble

Ahhh yes, I hear ya on that one, Judith. LOL One other suggestion from Susan
(and for the benefit of other women having the same deal here) was to snip
out the underwires, so I’m going to have a session doing that and see if that
helps. If I could burn the darn things altogether, I would! ;) Blessings, Marion

I happened to be looking at a chart this afternoon since my GB was giving me
a fit and I decided to lie down for a while after my Epsom Salt’s toddy.
The underwires are catching the liver reflex point. It is directly below the
nipple about where the average bra would end. Add a little swelling in the
liver from inflammation and you should have the undewire digging into that
    reflex
causing all sorts of pain and pressure.

I go braless a good bit (even though my knees get bruised a lot! LOL) but when
I DO have to go out and HAVE to wear a bra I dont have any with underwires. I
got tired of cutting the wires out and still not being comfortable so I only buy
wireless ones now. Was getting them from Sears but discovered a few months ago
that Walmart has practically the same thing so I get mine there now.
What chart are you talking about??
    Thanks!

I was looking at a chart of the reflex points and the neurolymphatics of the
body in Donna Eden’s Energy Medicine, terrific book of everyday exercises you
can use for yourself or your family to promote health and deal with family
health type occurences. It is also full of info for a massage therapist or
    anyone
interested in that sort of info. Its well written, well researched and
conversational. My only gripe ( which is really praise in a funny sort of way)
    is
that it is SO full of info, it takes time to figure out where everything is so
you can refer back to it when the occasion arises.
But that being said, I think Gary Craig at emofree.com explains where many of
those points are since he uses them with his tapping therapy.

I just cut out one underwire this afternoon, many thanks to dear Susan, and
couldn’t believe the difference. I will look for ones without wires, next time,
but finding them in the size you want is another story!

When I was a teenager my best friend had some lumps cut out of her
breast. The doctor who did it asked if she wore a bra with an
underwire. She said she did. He replied that in his experience
everyone on whom he performs this operation wears bras with
underwires. He advised her not to.
Ever since then, I have never had a bra with an underwire. I take a
rather large size and usually get them fitted at Macys. Once I find
a good supply I get a decent quantity and they last for a long time.
I have at times used a nursing bra when not nursing. The assistants
look at you funny when you ask for a large size without underwire.
    But they do exist.
    Now, any males reading this?

    Hi Tina,
Macy’s does fittings? I never knew that and always wondered if I was wearing
the right size. Sounds like a great tip and I had heard it was pretty
important to be fitted correctly. So far, so good with having cut out my
    underwires,
    thanks to Susan! YAY!
Thanks for this info and also for sharing your flush protocol and results.
    Well done getting some stones!
    Blessings, Marion

I was just going to drop out of this group, only because of the volume of e
mails, but after that last comment — I might stay in for a while.
Oh Bob… don’t go!! You never know where this will lead. Bwahahahaha
