I have been working towards a flush for six months after having
progressed from the parasite cleanse to the bowel cleanse to the
kidney cleanse and then the liver cleanse. I have been facinated
with
the fact that everything has worked according to the respective
protocols and I am now migraine headache free for the first time in
45
years. I have three questions. How soon can I expect to see my
cholesterol level start to drop? Will all cleanses feel as
uncomfortable as the first one? My husband weights 100 pounds more
than me. Is it expected that the same dossages of epsom salts and
olive oil will be more powerful on me because I weigh 100 pounds less?
In spite of the discomfort, I am looking forward to my next flush
because I believe in the success of the protocol and the overall
healthy results that are achieved in the long run.

Hi, MercyBee and All:
MercyBee, congratulations on your first flush! I just completed my first
one, also, after following all of Dr. Clark’s other cleansing protocols. And
combining her liver cleanse with Andreas Moritz’s process (colonics and
apple juice mainly as the additions) made it much easier than I thought it
was going to be (although, my bum is a bit sore today!) I did pass about 85
stones from “smaller than pea shape” all the way up to “the size of the end
of my thumb” or about the size of two kidney beans combined. I also noticed
what I think were the cholesterol crystals and some of the heavier stuff
that sunk to the bottom. For your cholesterol question, MercyBee, you might
want to buy Andreas Moritz’s book “The Amazing Liver Cleanse.” He goes into
quite a bit more detail than Hulda does on the whole process.
I do have three of my own questions for the group:
1) On the day of the cleanse, Hulda says not to drink or eat anything
after 2:00 p.m., and Andreas adds “(except water).” Is water okay to drink
at any time during the whole process like in the middle of the night? (I
started dry coughing in the middle of the night but was afraid to drink much
more than a sip or two for fear of needing to get up to go to the bathroom
or that I’d be disturbing the process.)
2) Is it okay on the day of the cleanse to drink plain coffee before
the cut-off point of 2:00 p.m.?
3) I used 6 mgs. of melatonin for sleeping (Hulda recommends ornithine
which I didn’t have on hand). Is melatonin okay to use?
Thanks,
Bonnie

Bonnie, I kind of figured that the really smart people on this group
would have answered you by now, but since they haven’t I’ll share
what little I know.
1) I think Hulda figured that drinking water would be understood. My
husband gets dehydrated easily, so he has to drink water right up
until a half an hour before he starts drinking the olive oil. You
don’t want the olive oil to float on water in your stomach –
apparently it makes some people nauseaus. But with the Epsom salts
causing your bowels to empty you really need to be putting some water
back in. The whole process makes me thirsty, so I drink a lot of
water until right up to that half hour before the oil. Then I don’t
drink any more water until I’m all done with taking the oil. If it’s
been over an hours since I had my last dose of oil and lemon I’m fine
with drinking water. I don’t usually want any for five or six hours
because I’m asleep… but if I woke up I wouldn’t worry about
drinking water.
2) I can’t really tell you about coffee… but since it’s included in
enemas for this process I don’t suppose there’s a real problem. If
you normally drink a lot of coffee I think it would be worse for you
if you had to do without it because you’d have to suffer from a
caffeine withdrawal headache as well as all the rest of this. Still,
I’m sure caffeine is one of the things everyone here would suggest
you try to wean yourself from…as well as high-fat foods.
3) My husband has used melatonin to help him sleep while he does the
cleanse. I never have trouble sleeping, so I don’t take anything. I
think the emphasis is on being able to lay still for 6 hours or so
which for most of us is much easier if we are asleep.
I hope this helps, if nothing else it lets you know that someone is
listening when you write in here.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@Hi, Luci!
@@@@@@@@@@@@@I think that a really smart (and compassionate) person IS
answering my question….thanks!
@@@@@@@@@@@@@That’s kind’a what I figured, but I didn’t want to mess
anything up, especially on the first cleanse.
@@@@@@@@@@@@@Luckily, I’m not too attached to coffee. My boyfriend tends to
like it more than he’d like. But he’ll be glad to at least have one cup on
the day of the cleanse (and I’m glad he can drink it, too!)
@@@@@@@@@@@@@That’s wanted I needed to hear…..the importance of laying
still. I sometimes sleep okay and other times not so well (especially, on
my back as recommended).
