Randi,
Thanks for your reply.
I got into trouble with my gb and pancreatitis after I decided to lose some
weight. I did the diet thing, went to the gym everyday nearly and was
monitored there. I did lose an awful lot of weight and relatively quickly.
Unfortunately, I was very stressed out at the time due to personal things
going off at home, too. I suppose I over did it. I have read of other
people getting gb attacks after losing weight, too, and having to have their
gb’s removed. I have since modified diet, lifestyle, etc. Have slowed down.
Cannot do the jogging as it is advised by docs not to until everything is
sorted out. I hate that as jogging is a mental de-stresser for me. I walk
most places, though. Have not been on bc pills for nearly 20 years. Only
pills I ever took were paracetamol, until my GP told me that they stress your
liver - these are the pills I was given at hospital, too!
With the supplements and Chinese herbs I have had no pains really, especially
with the Chinese herbs. I feel ok really, except for tiredness and sometimes
my eyes don’t feel right, a bit gloopy and unfocused at times. Maybe it is a
sign that the toxins are being flushed out with the herbs, which I’ve read
can happen or maybe it’s a side effect of having had the pancreatitis and gb
attacks or maybe it’s because I have three kids!
Anyway, thank you for your concern and advice. It is much appreciated.
Maria
Thank you for the advice
