  PCB is polychlorinated biphenyl. It was widely used about 25-50 years
  ago for lots of things. It is oily and an excellent electrical
  insulator. By far the most significant use, in terms of its role in
  polluting our dear environment and getting into our bodies, was to
  fill up transformer cases for the big (usually cylindrical)
  transformers that you see on top of electrical distribution poles.
  These leaked or occasionally exploded and dropped PCB into people’s
  yards, from where it got into the water table. It seems that it has
  not been used since around 1980 as it was eventually shown to cause
  cancer. It is chemically very stable and does not break down quickly.

  Thank you for explaining…what yucky stuff!
  My zapper should come this Saturday, I hope…can’t wait to Zap and see what
  happens.
  Will let you know how we do!
  Going to repeat the liver cleanse next weekend.
