I had a ultrasound Friday, the Tech. told me he could not see any
stones while doing the US. I have a Dr. appt. this Tues. to review
US for Gall Bladder stones.
I did the liver flush last night, the olive oil and lemon juice.
Before the flush, I did a juice fast with very little food (only a
salad and apple in 2 days)
Today, I passed a lot of green chunks. Ranging from a sesame seed
size to a large raisin size. They were soft and almost transparent
when put up to light. They were clumped together and ranged from
neon green to dark green (mostly lime green) Definatly not hard and
brown or black. I did read that olive oil and apple juice would
soften them. I froze them in a plastic bag (to show the Dr.) and now
they look tannish green.
Do these sound like gallstones? I am not passing any more, I had a
constant flow of passing them for about 4 hours.
Any confirmation or info would be great.
Thank you, Jenn
question on what I passed after first flush

Do I understand that the stones in your bile duct were *not* removed
during surgery?
If that is the case, then there would have been no reason to expect the
pain to have stopped until the stones passed out of the duct.
Do I understand correctly?

So, obviously, the stones were still there to cause problems. Guess what his
solution was? Come in for another medical procedure…an ERCP. I said, “No
thanks,” and decided to give the liver flush a try. It worked.
Hope that clears up any confusion.

Hi, Adrienne,
Thanks! It was no confusion to me because I knew what you were talking
about. I’ve talked to some others on here before that had stones left over.
Luckily, the cleanse removed them.
Take care,
Susie

I am glad the cholangiogram was done on me. SO far I seem to be
enjoying good health post gallbladder surgery. Several people have
commented on how wonderful my color is. I did not know it was bad.
The nausea was stomach illness of some kind and has passed. Dawn

ultrasound did not pick up much in the way of stones in my GB, nor
did it detect stones in the bile ducts, yet I did have stones causing
problems. Ultrasound is not 100% accurate in detecting stones.
my surgical experience. During surgery, my surgeon did not do a
cholangiogram, which would have detected stones in the bile ducts,
because there didn’t appear to be any inflamation of the cystic or
bile ducts. He guessed that there weren’t any stones in the
ducts…..bad guess. So, obviously, the stones were still there to
cause problems. Guess what his solution was? Come in for another
medical procedure…an ERCP. I said, “No thanks,” and decided to
give the liver flush a try. It worked.
