Hello Susan,
Susan, please go to the site mentioned in Agnes’ letter.
Here is a small quote which may help.
“Roughly 75% of the blood entering the liver is venous blood from the
portal vein. Importantly, all of the venous blood returning from the
small intestine, stomach, pancreas and spleen converges into the
portal vein. One consequence of this is that the liver gets “first
pickings” of everything absorbed in the small intestine, which, as we
will see, is where virtually all nutrients are absorbed”
The liver gets congested with intrahepatic stones. IMO - The cleanse
will help to flush the stones from the liver. Any one else ideas?
Suzanne :)

    Hello Susan,
I’m from Northwestern Ontario - close to the Minnesota border.
I believe the “first pickings” refers to the fact that the liver gets
everything absorbed from the stomach then intestines first. Toxins
    included.
Check out Dr. Sandra Cabot’s site for a good idea of the liver. Also
look at the bookmark section of the groups site. Maybe there is some
    info there for you.
Decongestion - I’ve read from many sources that a decongested liver
does not release its’ stones as easily. Sorry I can’t help further.
What I do know is that if you get your liver healthy, you will help
to prevent further problems from gallstones. So healthy liver +
flushing to rid of stones in gallbladder should lead to a healthy
    life.
    Does this help a bit?

    Hi Susan,
Yes I’m from Northwestern Ontario, near the Minnesota border. And
    you?
First pickings means that the liver gets to absorb first (after the
stomach/intestines) the nutrients as well as the toxins that we eat
in our food. Try out Dr Sandra Cabot’s site for more liver info.
I’m assuming a decongested liver is a poorly functioning liver. It
could be due to scar tissue - most often from cirrosis, or from an
overburden of toxins. So cleaning it up will help it to release
better/stronger bile, quit forming more stones and help to get rid of
    and prevent further stones.
This is just my humble opinion!
    Suzanne :)
