Hi,
I thought I would add some of the ideas to the forum about responsible living.
I have observed the same passion I myself have for healthy living on this forum
& it is delightfully refreshing!!
I have been doing natural healing alternatives since I was 23 & eating organic
for the last 12 years. I am now 42 and from what I have been told I don’t look
a day over 30 (they are probably being nice…teehehe) but better yet is that I
don’t feel over 30!! I have always used my common sense, listen to my body
and researched as much as I could before going into any treatment I wasn’t sure
of…..or worked with someone with the knowledge, however limited that was years
ago.
It adds up to taking “responsibility” for one’s health and not expecting any one
professional to take care and undo all the harm one chooses to bring upon one’s
own body in a fast quick that most people are looking for, that’s what keeps our
medical buildings full. If they want a quick fix then that is what it will be,
like fast food….fast and dangerous. It takes diligence and dedication to
living against the grain and odds of what mainstream america is doing and in a
slumber doing so.
I will also add one more thing……my children observed my habits over the
years and as young adults they have some of the best eating habits and their
friends ask them “how do you know how and what to eat?”…….because it comes
second hand and that is what we need to take responsibility for in life….what
we pass on to others, what legacy are we giving the world to make it a better
place for everyone to live a fuller richer life and with the hope that these
young people will not end up in the doctor’s office under the knife or with meds
in their bodies or worse yet wrecking any organ system or inducing some severe
life long consequence from side effects.
Ooopss…..sorry for rambling on here. As you can see I am extremely passionate
about healthy living.
Peace
Lu
