Annie from England
Dear Annie,
I have also a problem with fluorescent lighting - it makes me feel
nausious and disoriented. I noticed it one day when I was in the
ceiling fan department of a large store.
I also have trouble driving when the sun is brightly shining through
the tops of trees. I get a migraine headache. (I am other wise not
prone to migraines, in general)
I thought that it was a mild form of epilepsy.
If it’s related to a toxic liver that is food for thought.

I think your stomach and
gallbladder discomfort may well be helped by using the herb called Slippery
elm, you will probably be able to find plenty of info on this. Sorry that I
don’t have any particular reference.

Good idea and you’re right. I forgot that I also take Slippery Elm Bark.
It’s good stuff. I’m out of Dr. Cabot’s Livatone right now, so I bought some
of this at the health food store.

You know, Suzanne, I’ve never thought about this until you said it, but
fluorescent lighting makes me feel funny, too, kind of disoriented.

Steve-
Wouldn’t you know that it was also in Walmart that I first noticed it.
There is a lady at the school that I work in who is extremely
succepticle to fluorescent lights. - terrible migraines. The school
had to do a workplace evaluation and found that there were far too
many lumins than necessary. Too much light! Poor kids in the
class.
They were able to turn off nearly every 2nd light and she wears a
visor every day(like the old money counters used to wear).
