Hi, Sharon:
I can’t tell you what to do. When I worked at a hospital for 8 1/2 years,
one year I received a free flu shot. Just so happened that the dose that I
received made me sick as a dog because it was a bad batch. That was probably
7 years ago. Since that time, I have never wanted one again. I.e., I got
the “flu” from that shot, and so did several nurses. But did they pay for my
sicktime off? NO!!!
This is my opinion about it, I’ve been reading Dr. Mercola’s website about
flu shots, do we get them or not? Well, in view of what I’ve read so far,
and past experience, I’m not going to get one. Most people who eat right, get
plenty of nutrition, they’re just about free from getting the flu. If they
do get the flu, it’s usually short-lived and gives them a day or so of rest
that they probably need anyway.
Another thing, the first ever flu shot that my husband got, (for free, too,
at a workplace) resulted in his getting the flu.
As for gallbladder problems, I guess it could irritate your GB. I think that
they do it with eggs or something. Eggs sometimes trigger me to have an
attack. But that’s not all that they do to prepare flu shots. If I’m not
mistaken, there’s all kinds of dangerous chemicals used in it.

And about the eggs….I seem to recall that the notice
about employee flu shots at work says that eggs are
not used in this year’s vaccine, but I will check
tomorrow to be sure.

Hi, Rachel:
Yeah, please check about the egg stuff. The only reason that I even say
“egg,” is because on TV they were talking about people who can’t have flu
shots because of reactions and stuff. That’s the only reason.

Hi, Rachel:
I’m sorry, I meant to put where he responds and I typed “it.” My mistake.
Anyway, Dr. Mercola always responds with a comment.

I<< That would mean roughly 60 to 70 cases of the
disease would be likely to arise this year from the
flu shot. By comparison, about 20,000 people die in
the United States each year from influenza.

Hi, Rachel:
I understand your apprehension about receiving the flu shot. Chances are you
won’t get ill from receiving it at all. From my standpoint, I couldn’t take
it and from past experience, myself speaking here, I would tell them to “take
a hike.” Now, that’s my past experience. I have taken a flu shot before my
last one that was bad stuff and it was okay, I guess. I felt kind of ill but
didn’t get sick.
If I was a suing person, and on my last flu shot, I could have sued those
suckers. It’s because THEY said: “If you don’t take a flu shot and get the
flu, you won’t get paid.”
But: “I got the flu and was terribly sick, so were others from your flu
shot, and you didn’t pay us!!!!!”
Now, some could argue this point: “Well, you must have been getting the
flu!” Wrong! Nobody in the whole hospital had the flu then.
My point: “No one in the whole hospital had the flu except those with the
stupid flu shots.” Which, BTW, they came back two months later and admitted
that we had a bad batch. When I was told, it was like this: “Oh, BTW, you
had a bad batch and so did several nurses in an affiliate hospital….” It
was matter of fact…

I’m the ONLY one of 36 cousins who has NOT had her gallbladder
removed. My family fits the “fair, fat and forty” profile. I’ve done
at least 12 cleanses over the past 5 years and I KNOW I’ve prevented
surgery.
For me, I had interesting symptoms… yellowish eyes, shoulder pain,
nausea, and after each cleanse, all have lessened or disappeared.
It took at least 4 cleanses before the really BIG stones came
forward. Since, all the stones that come out are not calcified or
even the slightest hard.
When I am losing weight, and metabolizing my own fat, they are the
black stones. Nothing is going to keep me from cleansing.
My 72 year old mother has had numerous tests and a diagnosis of
collagenous colitis. I’ve begged her, for years to do a cleanse.
Finally out of desperation, years of vomiting after eating and
continuous runs, she did it. You would NOT believe what she passed on
the very first cleanse. On repeated, she kept passing stones.
Immediately she stopped vomited. Her skin improved. She had classic
liver itching.
I am a firm believer that this is something that should be as routine
as brushing our teeth or blowing our nose.

There are a few different cleanses that I’ve read about (and tried
one)… which one do you use and prefer? Have you ever done
a ‘parasite cleanse’? Lynne
