Hi All,
I am curious about what to do in order to get my bowels moving better, before doing this flush.
Since changing my diet in order to avoid the GB attacks, the muscles in the pit of my stomach have clenched up, and although I am not completely constipated, it is still very difficult to have a decent, bowel movement.
Yesterday morning I tried a quarter teaspoon of epsom salts in a cup of water, and after breakfast had a much better bowel movement, plus the clenched muscles in my stomach seemed to loosen up for much of the day, only to re-clench last night. I tried the same amount of epsoms this a.m., and had a light bowel movement with some diahrrea (sp?) after breakfast. The stomach muscles are less clenched once again, but I can feel them trying to cramp up on me now, only a few hours afterwards.
Any ideas??? (I am also doing the “water cure” with very good results in terms of weight loss, lowered blood pressure and signficantly more energy after only a little more than a week on it. But I really thought that re-hydrating would help me with bowel movements, and it has not.) Would appreciate any suggestions or experiences…
Regards,
Steve B.
