Just did my first flush!!! (Took me over a year to work up the pain to try
it). My history: Mid 30’s female (5 children) somewhat overweight,
otherwise good health, with an incapacitating attack a year ago requiring a
midnight trip to the ER (was breastfeeding at the time). The doctor
recommended surgery then, as the ultrasound showed many large stones…I
declined, saying there must be an all-natural way and I was going to find
it. He put me on actigall, which I only took that for a couple of months.
Two nights ago, I was experiencing major discomfort and quite a bit of pain
just below ribs on my right side (after a BBQ which included too many
hotdogs and greasy chips). The pain was still with me yesterday morning, so
I declined to eat anything and searched the net for a flush/cleanse. I
ended up drinking an entire container of Minute Maid apple juice (frozen
from concentrate and mixed with 3 cans of water), as I couldn’t find any
fresh juice in our town. After 6:00 pm and several trips to the potty, I
quit drinking the juice. I then mixed 1 cup of all natural cold pressed
extra virgin olive oil (Filippo Berio, as it was the greenest I could find)
and the juice of 10 large lemons (strained, they equaled about 1 cup).
Beginning at 7:30 I started with 2 oz and lay down on my left side with
knees up toward my chest. Every 15 minutes I downed another 2 oz until the
entire 16-oz mixture was consumed. To keep from vomiting (I never could
stand the smell of olive oil or anything cooked in it), I took a very small
sip of V-8 juice after each dose. I slept most of all night (with the
exception of the thunderclaps, as we had a storm). When I woke up this
morning I didn’t have the urge to eliminate, just nausea. So I was afraid it
was all for nothing. But around 8:30, it took. There were over 100 small
“stones”. I was expecting larger ones, like on the ultrasound. I made a
couple more trips over the course of the morning with the same results.
Finally just before noon, I passed the “big” blackish ones (1/2 inch to over
1 inch!) And some that were large, flat, and grayish. The nausea is now gone
and I was able to eat some soup for lunch. I feel better than I’ve felt in a
long, long time!!!!
