Hi,
I have been having increasing abdominal pain for the last 7 weeks.
Over the last week, the pain has increased and localized to the upper
right quadrant which is tender to the touch.
My ultrasound, CT, and HIDA, and 2 blood tests all come back normal -
no blockage, no stones, nothing notable. I have done the liver
cleanse
twice passing probably a couple of hundred stones the first time and
less the second time. Cleanse did not help the pain.
I can not correlate the pain to food. Laying down helps the pain a
lot. The pain/discomfort increases over the course of the day (I
think
weight of the liver isn’t helping). I do not have indigestion or
diarhea or constipation.
I am having a hard time finding info on GB diseases that don’t show
up
on tests. I am beginning to believe that my GB is inflammed but I am
one of the few that have all normal test results.
Any one else? The Dr. says the next step is to talk to a surgeon.

My tests came back normal too. I was glad but also frustrated that they can’t find what is wrong. I hurt and they don’t know why!
Dumb question: I hurt in the place you all describe as gall bladder/liver area. Could also be near my intestine. Can you get hernias in the upper right area of your abdomen? I usually feel the pain when I strain.
