In an earlier post I gave a theory that Milk was a primary culprit in
the formation of stones. For me, my gallbladder appears to get
slugglish within 6-24 hours after ingesting any significant amounts
of milk…
With a little research I discovered a site named:
www.wackyuses.com/elmers.htlm
It exlains: “In 1929, the Borden Co. purchased the Casein Co. of
America, the leading manufacturer of glues made from casein, a milk
by-product.” Bordo’s glue went on to become Elmers glue!
In response to a reader who continues to drink skim milk I wrote:
I am surprised that you can even tolerate skim milk. The problem
with milk is NOT the fat content… it is the cooked nature of the
calcium. When calcium is heated beyond a certain point it changes in
structure to a glue like substance. I believe that a popular glue
was Borden’s glue… the same company that made the milk!
Not drinking milk and being pregant is not a problem. My wife is
lactose intolerent and had four very healthy, big kids… who never
get sick. She drank NO milk products… yes, no milk, cheese,
yogout, etc.
When concerned friends would ask her how she can get enough calcium
to nourish the fetus her response was, “Where do you think Cows get
it from?”
No cow goes around drinking from other cows when it is pregant… it
eats grass. Green leafy vegatables will give you much more usable
calcium than any amount of a milk product. Lori and the babies did
just fine… now ages 11-17 and they don’t touch a drop of milk…
just some mother’s milk when they were young.
Interestingly, pregnant women are at the hightest risk for
gallstones… Could it be because they drink much more MILK when
pregnant and nursing in an effort to nourish the baby? Keep taking
your kelated vitamins, eat calcium loaded fruits and vegies that the
body can absorb.
Calcium (Caseine?) is one of the key ingredients to making
gallstones…
Excuse me… glue like calcium is one of the key ingredients…
Stop drinking Borden’s glue! Raw milk might be acceptable.
