Morgan;
If there are people on this list who
The other thing to realize is that whereas we may all want to cook-book this
for ourselves and each other, there is no one, single “liver-friendly diet”
that will suit just everyone. Liver-friendly for my peculiar biochemistry
might not be liver-friendly for yours, so we’d have to know if the person or
people in question were following not a cook-book, approved liver-friendly
diet, but a diet appropriately friendly to their particular type of liver
dysfunction.
*** All I said was ‘liver friendly,’ I made no mention OR implication of a
‘cook-book’ diet for everybody to follow. There is a disclaimer before each
digest “…you agree to hold yourself FULLY responsible FOR yourself.” This
statement is obviously designed for phrases such as ‘liver friendly,’ as one
must determine for themselves what that will be. It has been printed many
times over that beets for example, are extremely useful to the function and

cleansing of the liver, but if you’re severely allergic to beets….. or beets
bring back painful childhood memories……. or you joined the local Vegetable
Rights Activist committee….. I have trust in the people who read my posts to
use intelligence and discretion no matter how general the phrase, therefore I
find it unnecessary for us to constantly define our words. In the context of
my post it seemed very clear what I meant by ‘liver friendly,’ but I’m sure
some are appreciative of your warning.
and have completed 25, 30, 40+
Or maybe this person is eating the wrong liver friendly diet for his/her
particular liver condition. so is still forming and passing “stones”,
despite experiencing other certain improvements; or is cheating on the diet,
thereby getting a similar result; or has a particularly stout liver than can
still “saponify” and expel olive oil even after being assaulted with great
gobs of it a jillion times, etc., etc.
*** or MAYBE they are minions of the anti-Christ. Or MAYBE they’ve just found
a new way to impress their friends at parties…..
I’m just pointing out that it would be easy to draw erroneous “conclusions”,
unless one had eliminated all the variables.
*** Your words seem to do more than simply ‘point out.’ I don’t remember
using the words ‘I conclude that…’ but I do seem to remember using ‘maybe’
and ‘possibly’ a few times.
I’ve chosen a path that will hopefully lead to good health, and along this
path there will be questions - some more complicated than others. While I do
appreciate the suggestions of others, I don’t need a detailed analysis of my
words, especially when it is only for the purpose of argument. I believe
someone recently left this list for a nearly identical discussion with you,
Morgan. You made your point of the importance of INDIVIDUALITY in those
posts and have reestablished them here. I’m sure we can all now remember that
concept as it applies to our separate paths to good health (should I now
define ‘good health?’).
