,
I have been diagnosed with multiple moderate to large gallstones by
ultrasound and CT scan. I have been in pain for 2 months. I am vegetarian
and eat fairly low fat (have been for 11 years), but deal with an autoimmune
disease that is calcium forming called Sarcoidosis.
I have been planning a cleanse, and have been drinking organic apple juice
for 6 days already to soften the stones, as well as taking choline with
meals. The practitioner that I see, suggested this cleanse and on the 7th
day, I am to take a product named phosfood liquid a couple of times. I am to
fast after noon, and drink olive oil (1/4 cup) chased by organic lemon juice
at 6 in the evening, and repeat this two more times. She didn’t mention
Epsom salts, and offered phosfood liquid in place of disodium phosphate,
muscle testing that the body probably has a problem with salt, so that I
should do phosfood.
Ok, now for my questions, if anyone can answer them:

Has anyone had this experience, where they are in constant pain (constant
flank pain, and left arm pain, upon eating, and extreme stabbing pains every
so often), and know that they have multiple stones, some large? If so, have
there been any reported emergency situations? I have some fear around this
because today, as I was reading in a health food store a book that stated
that if the gallstones are too large to pass, that a cleanse preparation
should occur for at least a month ahead of time. How would one know if they
are too large to pass, without trying to pass them?
Is there any danger of any of these stones to get stuck on their way out?
I know that they are supposed to be gelatinous, and should pass, but am still
concerned. I do not have exact measurements of the stones I have.
Thank you for your help, I appreciate it.
